Fort Bragg Sprint

The first thing you will notice when you come to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, is how large it is. It is one of the largest U.S. Army installations in the world, spanning over 250 square miles. Home to the U.S. Army airborne forces, Special Forces, U.S. Army Forces Command and the U.S. Army Reserve Command, this area is so large that it is located across four separate counties. It’s only fitting that it’s also home to one of the military series Spartan Sprint races. With woodlands, grass and of course, the almost obligatory water, a venue that homes the U.S. military is ideal to test Spartans of all ages -- from someone just off the couch, to a Spartan Pro. The mountain biking and hiking trails are a favorite destination for those with a love of the outdoors. With the addition of the Spartan Signature Obstacles, it makes for the ideal setting to add to the Trifecta medal collection. TOP REASONS TO TAKE ON THIS COURSE: 1. For military enthusiasts, there are few places that can boast the number and breadth of museums, and places of interest that cover U.S. armed services. 2. Batting cages, bowling lanes and even paintball are all offered locally. That is, if you have energy to spare. 3. Looking for something a little more relaxed? There’s always the option of taking a riverboat tour in Fayetteville. Gently travel down the river and watch the scenery go by. 4. Just south of Fayetteville sits Hope Mills. Here you will find a fun, family-friendly water park. This man-made lake is over six acres and has slides, volleyball, paddle boats and more. 5. Ever had the chance to explore and attempt to escape a corn maze? A short drive from Fort Bragg will see you get to Galberry Corn Maze. 6. With other attractions including make your own pottery, strawberry farms, and crazy golf and amusement centers, there are many ways to unwind. 7. Fort Bragg also has great places for wakeboarding.

Fort Bragg Sprint

The Sprint may be our shortest distance race, but it’s still a favorite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they fan push themselves. Delivering 20-23 obstacles over 3-5 miles, you'll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.
