The Spartan Trifecta Weekends in 2023
March 18-19, 2023
Atlanta Spartan Trifecta Weekend - Conyers, GA
The Georgia International Horse Park was home to the 1996 Olympic Equestrian events. Rolling hills and deep southern woods will keep you guessing as you race through Georgian red clay, slippery mud pits, water crossings, and other technical, taxing terrain. The longer Trifecta-qualifying distances will even run through the Olympic rings that were built on location.
May 6-7, 2023
Montana Spartan Trifecta Weekend - Bigfork, MT
This Trifecta weekend will take your breath away in more ways than one. You’ll race directly on the shores of Montana’s largest freshwater lake, Flathead Lake, complete with some of the toughest and most rewarding climbs the state has to offer. With race options from Sprint to Ultra, this is the ideal event for racers to experience the unforgettable and expansive views and terrain of Glacier National Park. But beginners beware: This is the eighth most difficult race on the U.S. schedule.

May 13-14, 2023
Fayetteville Spartan Trifecta Weekend - Spring Lake, NC
Our first Trifecta weekend in North Carolina was in 2021, and there’s a reason we’ve continued to return to Fayetteville with even more races year after year: The Spartan staff voted this location their favorite of any U.S. race. The venue, McCormick Farms, is family-owned, but don't let that fool you. This 1,000-acre farm is no joke.
While Montana unfolds closer to the West Coast, East Coast Spartans can put all of that Trifecta training to use on this weekend’s dense forests, 200-foot deep quarry, rolling hills, and steep, mud-soaked riverbanks. It’ll be a hell of a climb, but will leave you with a sense of euphoria you’ve never before experienced.
May 20-21, 2023
Big Bear Spartan Trifecta Weekend - Big Bear Lake, CA
Yet another one of our hardest races available — this one clocking in at No. 2 — any Big Bear race distance that you choose will send you skyrocketing up and down unrelenting hills, which can reach as high as 8,200 feet and include plummets of 1,200 feet. If you're brave enough to take on this weekend, your calves will never forget it, and your heart will never forget the picturesque, panoramic landscape views of towering trees, pristine waters, and fellow Spartans crushing the course on the mountains below you.

Expect this to be a fast, yet challenging Trifecta weekend, and don't forget to bring your kids.

Utah Spartan Trifecta Weekend - Huntsville, UT
This course at Mount Ogden hosted the Winter Olympics in 2002, making it a worthy challenge for any Spartan. The 3,000-foot climb to the course’s summit makes this another one of the toughest Trifecta weekends on the calendar, but the view from the top makes the trek’s effort more than worth it.

Huntsville — a world-class ski town with a deep-rooted history and a passion for community — is the perfect place for Spartans to expand their existing sense of camaraderie. Racers can take in the Blues, Brews & BBQ concert series on Sunday to relax in the shade, grab a drink, and reflect on a race well run. And this weekend also features a Kids Race, so make sure to bring the entire Spartan family.
Aug. 26-27, 2023
West Virginia Spartan Trifecta Weekend - Glen Jean, WV

Oct. 21-22, 2023
