Practical information, Festival & Spectators

PARKING Parking info will be posted in the Athlete Guide. There will be a parking area near the venue. However this will be limited. So we ask you to arrange carpooling to reduce the number of cars. Parking on the side of the access road is not allowed by the authorities. This applies to anyone (spectators, racers, visitors, etc.). Please, keep all your staff in the car out of eyes from thief. The organizer is not responsible for items stolen from parked vehicles, please do not leave any valuable items in your car. More information will be sent a few days before the race in the Athlete Guide. BAG CHECK You can drop a bag at our bag Bagdrop off tent. After the race you can pick up again. Bag-check is free of charge for one piece of bag. Maximum size of your bag is 35cm x 50cm or 35 liters. We will no accept any travel bag. The size limit does not apply to volunteers. Bag Check SHOWER: Spartan style Cold wash available after your finish. CHANGING ROOM Before and after the race a by gender tents to change clothes will be provided by the organization. RELIEF AND SUPPLY: A first-aid post will be placed at the end of the race with water, bandages and a loan ambulance service to respond quickly to any part of the course. In the case of an accident, there are race officials posted at every obstacle who can use the emergency radio to summon help immediately. You are allowed to take with your supply of water and food if you estimate you need it. The organization will set up supplies of water on the course but you should not rely only on it to hydrate you. Don’t hesitate to take water, gels, and bars with you AND keep all rubbish with you! FESTIVAL Opening on Friday afternoon for pre race packet pick-up, the Festival will welcome you all over the weekend for different activities: - Merchandise shop - Music - Bars and food - Start, finish and best obstacles from the course - Festival test and run obstacle challenge - All our partners and exhibitions FESTIVAL MINI CHALLENGES While you are waiting for the start of your wave, or even any of the spectators, you can take part in some of our mini-challenges. Try crossbars, Burpees on time, or tire shuffling. The winner is awarded a free ticket for the following races, or other attractive prizes from sponsors. SPECTATORS Bring your friends and family to the race to watch you conquering obstacles, dominating the finish line and receiving your medal! Come and enjoy an extraordinary experience through a day coupled with different activities in the Festival area, with our obstacles that you can test, the Spartan Kids race or the opportunity to enjoy watching your family moving through the course. VARIOUS Pic-nic and barbeques are not allowed in the race area. You can find food and beverage at the Spartan Race Festival Area.

Arrival & Heat times

Arrive 90 minutes before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your registration packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up. Check registration schedules in the Athlete Guide. Heat start "Spartan Race operates with heat starts between 150 and 250 athletes every 15 minutes after the first heat. Choose your starting time well according to your level, your team and your objectives. Do not go into the last waves if you think you will have difficulty finishing the course. There is no time barrier but for obvious security reasons everyone must be home before a certain time. You can find your start time at BiB List located at Important Documents section. Rules & Regulations

You will receive a bib number or head band in your racer pocket. One of these is mandatory to wear it. Also it increases your chances to get nice pics from the race afterwards...You are not allowed to pass your bib number to another participant. You can only participate in the race if you have handed in your signed waiver when you pick up your racer packet. You will also receive a timing chip. It is mandatory to wear the timing chip at all times during the race on your wrist, otherwise you cannot be timed. You are not allowed to pass your timing chip to another athlete, as it is linked with your bib number. You are not allowed to cut the course. You can overtake others anywhere unless elsewise announced on the course. Also at obstacles. However we expect that you respect the other athletes. Editing Profile, Transfer of your Registration, Deferral At Spartan we understand that unexpected things come up in life and sometimes we cannot do anything about it. Our registration system is allowing you to do some changes online directly from your profile. You can change your heat time for service fee 5€. Attention, this fee can be paid only with credit card. Another change which can be done online is substitution. All changes can by made online till last Tuesday before the event. For more info click here.

Arrival Plan to arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your registration packet and get warmed up. What to Bring Your ID, Confirmation Email with QR Code, Hydration and Nutrition. Spectators DEKA events are always incredibly spectator friendly, so be sure to invite your biggest fans to come cheer you on. Spectators can save time upon arrival at the venue by purchasing a spectator ticket in advance.
