Early Morning: Wake Up and Do 300 Burpees
Spartan founder and CEO Joe De Sena started his day with 50 jumping jacks and 300 burpees — yes, 300 burpees at 6 a.m. — taking questions from the community in the process (1 question per 30 burpees, to be exact). Looking for victims, he noticed the show's producer, Jon Oustaev, calmly sitting behind the camera. Joe pressured him into joining him and, after agreeing reluctantly, Oustaev later said, "That's the fun of working with Joe."
Mid-Morning Training: Legs and Core
Spartan pro and professional endurance coach Ian Hosek welcomed us inside his home gym for a leg and core workout to bolster your running mechanics and keep your lower body strong. The workout consists of three rounds of airplanes, rear foot elevated split jumps, Russian twists, and skater squats. It's all bodyweight, but if you do want to add additional weight to the workout, Hosek has some creative options to consider.
Lunch: Cauliflower Macaroni and (no) Cheese
Maintaining your health and wellness needs to be one of your top priorities right now, and you don't get there just by training. Spartan pro and registered dietician Corinna Coffin is here to supply you with easy, delicious, healthy meals that you can make in the comfort of your own kitchen. Today's dish is cauliflower macaroni and cheese. (Well, kind of.) It's the perfect balance of protein, carbs, and fat.

Afternoon: Ask Me Anything With Our Chief Mind Doc
Spartan Chief Mind Doc and licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Lara Pence hopped on for an "Ask Me Anything" segment, addressing all things mental health and taking questions from our community. Among many other topics, Dr. L. spoke about creating a routine and maintaining motivation during this challenging time.
Evening: Stretches and Sits to Wind Down
The great Eric Paskel returned to help us wind down with evening stretches and sits. The international yoga teacher and motivational speaker stressed that, as Spartans, what matters most during times like this is having peace of mind and being comfortable in your own skin.
