Thai Almond Butter Sauce: A Slaw Favorite

Thai Almond Butter Sauce: A Slaw Favorite
Presented by Spartan Training®

A Thai almond butter sauce is a way to dress up almost any dish. We give you three versions to try in this blog.

First, here is a simple recipe for the sauce:

  • 2 Tbsp almond butter (We love YumButter)
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp coconut milk

Directions Whisk all ingredients together and store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

3 Ways to use this sauce:

  • Shred cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, and green onions. Add sliced almonds. Mix with sauce for a delicious Asian inspired coleslaw. (or check out our next recipe: Crunchy Asian Quinoa Bowl)
  • Stir fry broccoli, onions, and julienned carrots, toss in some cooked chicken, and toss with sauce to finish.
  • Wrap up your favorite shredded veggies and use sauce for dipping.
