I just went for “research” and to try out a couple obstacles. Well, 4 hours later, I’d finished the SUPER @spartan race course! Which is 25 obstacles, 10k and it’s insane, terrifying and I can’t wait to do it again. I had no idea what I was getting into and had I not met the awesome Lopez family after the 1st obstacle, I would have left. But there’s something incredible about this community that encourages and inspires, pulls you out of mud, over rope walls, and energized you. As I start off my BIG birthday week, this experience reminds me the importance of trying new things, it’s ok not to make plans, you never know who your tribe can be and you are ALWAYS stronger than you know. #iamspartan #spartansanjose
