What is it that truly makes someone a great and fearless warrior?

To Native American speaker and veteran DJ Vanas, author of The Warrior Within, it's all about making a contribution, which has nothing to do with financial means. A true warrior, he says, is someone who continuously leads by example, and who has dedicated their life to service, their tribe, and their people.

"That's what the warrior role comes from, and it transcends age, race, gender, and stage of life," Vanas explains. "These principles that I share in the book are available for anybody willing to take on the call."
