Race Information


We are hosting three race types, Sprint, Super and Beast in one weekend! You can run an individual Sprint, Super, or a Beast, or a combination of race types - a Sprint + Super, Sprint + Beast, or a Super + Beast. If you dare, you can take on the ultimate Spartan Trifecta Challenge, by racing all three race types - Sprint + Super + Beast all in one weekend, and become a member of the Trifecta Tribe!

NOTE: The following combination of races Beast + Sprint, Beast + Super, and Trifecta (Sprint + Super + Beast) MUST be run on separate days. You will be able to run the Super + Sprint on the same day. Click the REGISTER NOW button to start the registration process. At Step 2, you will be able to select the race or race combination that you want on the day you want.

Race Details


Distance: Right around 3 miles, fastest time should be around 40 minutes.

Start Times: On Saturday August 16th and Sunday August 17th starting at 7 a.m., waves of 150 athletes will be released every 15 minutes.

Spectators: Free!

Kids Race: Available! Heats starting at 9 am - 2pm, going off every hour. $30 regular registration and $40 late registration.

Build A Team


Strength comes in numbers! Become part of a team to help yourself and others get through the event, save money, and support our troops. How does it work? Create a team or join a team! The more people on a team, the more money everyone will get back in their pocket! Each team member will receive a discount, refunded to the method of payment used, a few days prior to race day. The discount escalates as the team size increases, so get more friends to join your team and everyone saves more money! How many people are needed to make a team? Teams are unlimited with a minimum of four people! Team members are timed individually and are not required to cross the finish line together. Which team takes home the prizes? The fastest 4 times of the team will be used to calculate the team's finishing time. Prizes will be awarded to the team who finishes on top!

Spectators


As a Spartan Race spectator, you get entry to the rocking festival area, a festival grounds map, access to some of the obstacles on course, not to mention the epic finish line - for free! Enjoy the music and watch your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course in the relative safety and comfort of the Spartan Race festival grounds! Beware, the next ticket you'll want to buy might have you standing on the Spartan starting line!

RACE SCHEDULE


On Saturday August 16th and Sunday August 17th starting at 7 a.m., waves of 150 athletes will be released every 15 minutes.

- 7:00 a.m. SUPER (Elite Heat)
- 7:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. SUPER (Confirmed Heat)
- 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. BEAST
- 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. SUPER
- 10:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. SPRINT

ARRIVAL


Plan to arrive 1.5 hours BEFORE your designated start time to allow enough time to pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up. If you are one of those chronically late people, tell yourself you need to be there 2 hours early. If you’re an early bird, registration opens at 6:30am on Saturday and Sunday morning.

WAIVERS AND IDs


All racers, spectators, and volunteers MUST sign a waiver (above) and show a valid photo ID upon arrival. Be sure to bring a copy of your signed waiver and hand it to one of our awesome volunteers in the registration tent. We try to have copies of waivers available, but save yourself some time, print it here and bring it with you on race day. We cannot release bibs without a signed waiver for each participant.

BIB PACKET PICKUP


Bib numbers are available the week of the race & will be posted under the Race Day tab a few days prior to the events date. On race day, make sure you know your bib number as this will be used to locate your bib packet - this will include your headband, bib, timing chip and most importantly, FREE drink ticket! Bib pick up information: Saturday, August 9th (7:00am to 3:00pm), Aloha Stadium 99-500 Salt Lake Blvd. Aiea, Hawaii 96701.

OFFICIAL CASH PURSE


Cash prizes are provided courtesy of the Navy Federal Credit Union to the top 3 male and female winners of the Saturday elite heat in the following amounts:

1st Place - $2,000

2nd Place - $1,000

3rd Place - $750

If you are a current or retired military member, or a family member of a retired or current military member (including grandparents, spouses, siblings, grandchildren, children, and household members), you are eligible to become a member of the Navy Federal Credit Union. WHAT TO BRING


Along with your ID, waiver, parking cash and knowing your bib #, bring your friends and family - or anyone else who needs proof of your badassness and obstacle course skills or someone who needs a demonstration of your mud flinging abilities. Don't forget your money for parking and fun! You should probably bring a towel and some extra clothes because your clothes will get muddy and wet, but you probably already guessed this.

NOTE: Outside food and drink WILL NOT be allowed into the venue, so make sure to leave it at home or in your car! Same with pets, no pets please.

BAG CHECK


Try and leave as much stuff as you can at home or in your car— but for the stuff you can't leave behind, or that you don't want covered in mud and water, we will have a secure place to check in your gear. Check in is $5/bag – you will get a wrist band to wear that matches the band we put on your bag so make sure you keep that safe.

WHAT TO WEAR


We said "adventure" right? Well folks let's get adventurous! There’s no dress code, per se, but you’ll be running in mud and water, climbing hills and mountains, crawling under barbed wire and jumping fire. So choose wisely my friends.

AID STATIONS


There will be 5 aid stations on course. Come prepared, make sure you are properly hydrated. A hydration pack or water bottles is required to run the Beast course.

FINISHERS RECEIVE


For starters, yes, you will be getting your badge of honor, the one-of-a-kind, bragging rights of your badass finishers medal (if you want to really bling it out, have it personalized using our partner site, iTab – they can get this all set for you. You’ll also get a quality race t-shirt (yes, more bragging rights) and shortly after the event, you’ll get your own professional photo and video to prove your badassness (see Photos and Videos section for more on that)

PHOTOS & VIDEO


Professional event day photos will be posted on the event page 5-7 days after the event, FREE OF CHARGE! You don’t have to stay up all night checking the site for this – we’ll email you when your photos are ready!

Kids Race

The Spartan Race is not only for adults. Bring the kids ages 4-13 who can participate in their very own kids challenge. They will enjoy the thrill of the run, and a variety of scaled downed obstacles. Our mission is to inspire children to develop a love for fitness at an early age.

Each kid will receive a T-shirt and Finishers Medal.

Kids zone opens from 9am - 2pm.

Kids heats go off every hour at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm.
