Incheon Sprint

Incheon Sprint

The Sprint may be our shortest distance race, but it’s still a favorite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they fan push themselves. Delivering 20-23 obstacles over 3-5 miles, you'll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.

Incheon Super

Incheon Super

There’s nothing mediocre about this middle distance race. The Spartan Super offers the ideal blend between distance and speed. Offering racers a true athletic test. If you consider yourself a more seasoned athlete determined to push beyond excuses, you just might have the mettle for a Spartan Super. Serving up 24-29 Spartan Obstacles and 8-10 miles of rugged terrain, the Spartan Super spares no one. Developed as the second race in the Spartan Trifecta, the Super is where you prove to yourself you’ve got everything it takes to face the Beast.

  • Spartan Race is the world's best obstacle course race, with over 240 races in 25 countries around the world this year. Spartan Race is not your everyday running race - expect to run, climb, push, pull, throw and crawl through walls, hills, trees, mud, barbed wire and other challenging but fun obstacles. This November, get ready for both the Spartan Beast and the Spartan Sprint!

The Beast will test not only your endurance, perseverance and grit, but also your mind. The 21 kilometer Beast packs 40+ Signature Spartan Obstacles and your final hurdle on the #RoadToTrifecta. It won’t be easy, but there is no better feeling than the Spartan Medal around your neck after you fly across the finish line. The Spartan Sprint is our shortest course. It is perfect for athletes of all levels; from Spartan first timers to seasoned racers. The 6 Kilometer Sprint may be our shortest distance but it packs 22+ exhilarating signature Spartan Obstacles. Both races are open to racers aged 14 and above.

Starting in November for Bintan Reebok Spartan Race, racers will be able to sign up for not only Elite and Open heats but a third additional category, the Competitive Heat. The competitive heat will serve as a middle ground between the Elite field and the Open heat and help bridge the gap for many age group racers and competitive but not elite racers.

The Competitive category, our newest option is designed to address the gap between our Open class racers and our Elites. Competitive Racers will be expected to follow the same rules and standards as the Elite racers. These racers compete for glory and bragging rights, and points towards a World Championship Entry

As a major component of the rapid evolution of obstacle racing as a sport, Competitive racers will start immediately following the elite waves, taking advantage of a wide open course while competing for points in our new Regional Point Series. Competitive racers commit to sportsmanship, honoring rules and guidelines, and performing at their best.

In addition, racers in the Competitive category will be able to track their results throughout the race season to see how they stack up against their peers.

Each Sprint racer that completes the race will receive a coveted official Spartan Race Finisher T-shirt and Spartan medal after crossing the finish line.

A trophy and cash prizes will also be awarded to the winners of the Spartan Sprint Elite, Spartan Elite Sprint and Sprint Elite Masters and Sprint Elite Masters categories. (See below for more details on categories and prizes)

Starting from November race, prizes for the Masters’ division will only be awarded to racers participating in the Elite Heats.

The Biggest team will also walk away with a coveted Spartan trophy, and enjoy their own branded tent on Race Day (more details below).

TEAM REGISTRATION

Please make sure to select same "Time Block" to run with your friends or team members together. The best way to ensure that you are starting at the exact same start time as your friends is to create a Team during registration (or have your friends Join your team!). Any racers that are registered as part of a team, on the SAME DAY in the SAME TIME BLOCK (Elite vs. Competitive vs. Morning vs. Afternoon), will be moved to the common team start time in each block when start times are assigned (about 10 days prior to the event). Team times are NOT determined by the captains start time. Team members will be grouped together within each block (Elite, Competitive, Morning OR Afternoon), based on the preferred time that the majority of team members in that block choose. Please refer to that It can be adjusted arbitrarily. Getting all your friends registered and lined up together on race day can be tricky.

Avoid any confusion by checking out: 2017: Team Registration and Start Times.
