Charlotte Sprint Weekend

Spartan Race is pleased to return to Porter Farms, a 600-acre family owned and operated establishment in the peaceful town of Concord, North Carolina. The 3+ mile course will be spread out over 100 acres of land that typically plays home to peaceful pastures on a sprawling farm, but on this weekend it will transform into an outlet for the passionate Spartan community. Despite being a fast and flat course, this venue provides racers with an array of difficult challenges that are guaranteed to push each participant to their limit. Don’t miss out on kicking off your Spartan season with this fun, yet challenging, Spartan Sprint. TOP REASONS TO TAKE ON THIS COURSE: 1. Shorter in distance yet obstacle-ridden, this epic Sprint is sure to provide an incredible challenge. Testing both speed and skill, racers are guaranteed to cross the finish line having left every ounce of effort on the pastures of Porter Farms. 2. Runners will encounter demanding, strenuous, and backbreaking battles with nature as they progress through the vast fields of the farm. 3. While this might be one of the flatter courses Spartan has to offer, there will still be plenty of mud, root-filled fields, and challenging obstacles to tackle on this beautiful course. 4. Located just 30 miles east of Charlotte, North Carolina’s largest city, a wide variety of post-race dining and celebration options are available.

BUILD A TEAM: STRENGTH COMES IN NUMBERS.

Callout your friends, co-workers and loved ones to get off the couch and into the mud.

Whether they’re helping you over the wall or chasing you up the mountain, make sure they’re with you at the starting line.

Teams can be any size but must have at least 4 members to be included in the team rankings.

TEAM REGISTRATION

The best way to ensure that you are starting at the exact same start time as your friends is to create a Team during registration (or have your friends Join your team!).

Any racers that are registered as part of a team, on the SAME DAY in the SAME TIME BLOCK (Elite vs. Competitive vs. Morning vs. Afternoon), will be moved to the common team start time in each block when start times and bib numbers are assigned (about 10 days prior to the event). Racers that are registered for Sunday will not be moved to Saturday with a team, or vice versa.

Team times are NOT determined by the captains start time. Team members will be grouped together within each block (Elite, Competitive, Morning OR Afternoon), based on the preferred time that the majority of team members in that block choose.

Racers that are registered for Elite or Morning start times will NOT be grouped with racers in the Afternoon start times or vice versa.

Getting all your friends registered and lined up together on race day can be tricky. Avoid any confusion by checking out: 2017: Team Registration and Start Times.
